How to Play Fantasy 5

Whether you visit a Michigan Lottery retailer or take part online, it only takes a few steps to play Fantasy 5. Drawings take place daily at 7:29 EPM ET.

Ticket sales for each draw cut off at 7:08 PM ET. If you miss this deadline you will be entered into the following day’s drawing. Find out below how to play.

Select your numbers

Choose five numbers from 1 to 39. If you don't want to select your own, an Easy Pick will give you five random numbers.

Multi-Draw option

Decide how many draws to play, up to a maximum of 60.

Decide on Double Play and EZmatch

Add Double Play for your numbers to be entered into an extra draw that takes place immediately afterwards. You can also select the EZmatch option to give you the chance to win prizes instantly.

Pay for your tickets

It costs $1 per play, but Double Play and EZmatch also cost an extra $1 each. If you added both options, for example, and just entered one set of numbers into a single draw, the total cost would be $3.

In each Fantasy 5 draw, five numbers between 1 and 39 are randomly selected. You win a prize if you match at least two of them.

The Double Play draw works exactly the same way, and your numbers are automatically entered into this draw if you’ve added the Double Play option.

If you add EZmatch, you might even win a prize before the Fantasy 5 draw takes place. A series of numbers will be randomly generated and printed on the lower part of your ticket, accompanied by a prize value. If any of these EZmatch numbers match the numbers you have selected, you win the prize shown on your ticket.
